Supplemental Health Insurance

Extra Protection for Life's Unexpected Costs

Supplemental insurance can provide benefits for certain covered accidents, serious illnesses or periods of disability. Benily Group offers licensed-agent guidance for four Assurity supplemental insurance options.

These are supplemental insurance products. They are not comprehensive major medical insurance and are not a substitute for major medical coverage. Product availability, eligibility, benefits and policy terms vary.

Four Ways to Add Supplemental Protection

Each product addresses a different financial risk. A licensed Benily Group representative can help you understand the differences and determine which options may be available to you.

Accident Insurance

Accident Insurance provides specified benefits when a covered accidental injury results in eligible treatment or services. Benefits are based on the policy's benefit schedule and are subject to its terms, limits and exclusions.

  • Base, Advantage and Complete plan options
  • 24-hour or off-the-job coverage options
  • Individual, family and juvenile coverage configurations
  • Guaranteed issue, subject to eligibility and product availability
  • Benefits for specified accidental injuries and related treatment
  • Accidental death benefits are included
  • Optional riders may be available

Critical Illness Insurance

Assurity Quick Issue Critical Illness

Critical Illness Insurance provides specified benefits when an insured person is diagnosed with a covered serious illness and the policy's requirements are satisfied. It is designed to provide supplemental financial protection rather than replace medical insurance.

  • Issue ages 18–64
  • Benefit amounts from $5,000 to $50,000
  • Electronic application available
  • Covered conditions include qualifying heart attack, stroke, invasive and non-invasive cancer, and advanced Alzheimer's disease
  • Benefits vary by covered diagnosis
  • A 30-day waiting period for covered cancer diagnoses applies in most states

Cancer waiting-period provisions and covered-condition definitions vary by state and policy. Other covered conditions may begin under different policy provisions.
